Magnolia Market at the Silos

The Silos: Waco, TX

Magnolia Market at the Silos has been on my bucket list since high school when I started watching Fixer Upper. Chip and Joanna Gaines just simply cannot do anything wrong. My sister & I decided it was time to finally go check it out. Although spending the day at Magnolia Market was only one day out of the week long trip in to Texas, it was certainly a highlight.

Magnolia Table

Our first stop was to Magnolia Table, just a few blocks from the marketplace. We made a 10 am reservation two weeks beforehand for breakfast. Once we arrived, we waited a few minutes and were taken to our table. Honestly the restaurant was everything I expected. I felt at home, cozy, and comfortable. The service was awesome, food came out fast and everyone was super friendly. We ordered Lemon Lavender Donut Holes to start… and then ordered another bowl of them because they are THAT good. Both of us split a juice flight which comes with 4 juices of your choice. We each ordered our own Farm Breakfast that came with a biscuit with strawberry butter. My mouth is still watering. Unbelievable breakfast experience 10/10 highly recommend lol.

Magnolia Press

After breakfast we headed to Magnolia Market & parked behind the Silos. We browsed around the Magnolia store & ended up buying t-shirts, of course. After that, we headed to Magnolia Press where we both got Iced Snickerdoodle Lattes. Unbelievable.

Magnolia Home

The Magnolia Home store was gorgeousss and I now want a bedroom with exposed brick. One can dream. The store was set up in a showroom style and had some great pieces for sale if you’re in the market for new decor.

Shops at the Silos

Fortunately the Shops at the Silos were open when we went, as some spots had been under construction. This area of the market consisted of six shops, a steeple and a lawn to play on. Each shop had it’s own demographic it catered to, women, men, children, etc. Behind the Shops was a miniature baseball field and their food trucks.

Silos Baking Co.

Our last stop was the Silos Baking Co. We waited in line for about 30 seconds and when we walked out the line was around the building. Once we got in we ordered Campfire S’mores, Strawberries & Cream and Pumpkin cupcakes. To die for.

Our trip to the Silos was everything I hoped it would be. I left inspired and feeling like the journey there was worth it. The only thing that could have made it even better would have been seeing Chip and Joanna but maybe next time!

Always,

Ari
